Blog update if you didn't see it. And no classes today although I imagine most admissions people read applications from home as well.
"We will begin interviewing Round 1 applicants for the full-time MBA on 15 November. Interview invitations will be extended beginning in early November and applicants may receive an invitation to interview at any point up until the decision release date on 19 December. This is a random process, so the order of interview invitations has no reflection on the quality of the applicant."

It was mentioned that today is the first day Darden will release interview invites. Has anyone heard anything yet?

In the chat a couple of weeks ago, they said 'early November' and 'possibly the end of this week (1st & 2nd), but most likely the week of 5th-9th'.

You guys are right- almost everything has just vaguely said, "early November" but in Sarah Neher's video blog she actually stamped 1 November as the beginning of interview invites. With interviews not starting until Nov 15 (Thursday), it looks like the bulk of applicants are going to be interviewing after Thanksgiving (for on campus, anyway). I don't know if they do interviews on Friday and would be shocked if they did any the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, leaving only 3-4 potential days prior to the break.

Good find, had me hoping to see updates today. Unfortunately I have neither seen nor heard anything, and have not seen any status update on here. I suppose it will indeed be next week that they start processing invites.

I got an invite at 8:05. It said "Invitation to Interview at Darden" in the subject and came from darden@virginia.edu. Best of luck to everyone!

Just FYI. Since I was neurotic enough to go through last year's forum, I though y'all might be interested too. Last year the interview invites went out over a period of roughly 3.5 weeks (Oct. 26 - Nov. 18). They seemed to come in spurts with many people receiving invites at the same time and then nothing for a day or two. They started about 1 week later this year, so I guess we can assume something a little more abbreviated than that (especially since post volume of this forum seems to indicate apps may be down), but those of us who haven't heard yet may have a while to wait.
