data suff explanation [#permalink] New post 24 Nov 2007, 07:19
hello everybody. I have a troubling data sufficiency question. Is there anyone ready to give me an explanation?

If n is a positive integer, what is the tens digit of n?
(1) The hundreds digit of 10n is 6.
(2) The tens digit of n + 1 is 7

thanks in advance

Sorry for a late reply.

If this question comes from GMAT Club tests ( http://www.gmatclub.com/wiki/Tests ), please provide the Test number and the Question number, and I will look into it. These questions are usually discussed at the Tests forum ( http://gmatclub.com/forum/59 ). Otherwise, consider the Math forum ( http://gmatclub.com/forum/7 ).

Thank you.
