There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:

The distance between two days with the same number of the neighbouring months must be 28 or 29 or 30 or 31 days
His birthday fell in Sunday and in the previous month of the same year, the day of the month on which he was born fell on a Thursday so the distance betwwen these two days must be 31 days. This means that the previous month of the one in which Yezz was born must has 31 days.
Also tell that the distance between his birthday and the day of the month on which he was born in the next month of the same year must be 31 days.
This means that the month in which he was born must has 31 days.
(1)or (2) alone tells us nothing but (1) (2) together conclude that Yezz was born in August. Because there are just neighbouring months of July and August which both have 31 days and

Consider a can finish the work in 3 days so in one day he finishes 1/3
Consider that b can finish the work in 2 days so in one day it finishes 1/2
Now a has to finish remaning 1/6 of the work that would require him half a day so total comes to 2.5
Similarly if we solve for A and B for given values we should be able to reach an answer.
