Hello everyone,

After a disappointing score of 540 (Q42/V23), I have decided to resit the GMAT end of March. My actual goal was to reach a 650 (Q>45,V35). I prepared approx. 3 months for the exam, scoring between 600-700 in the common practice exams (Q40-45;V30-36). I was really surprised by this awful score - did not expect to see such a bad verbal score at the end of the exam.

I used all MGMAT books, CR-Critical reasoning bible, OG12 and the Knewton online course for preparation. While I am sure that the MGMAT books are a must in the preparation, I was dissapointed by the Knewton course, because I experienced the maths section as rather shallow.

I have now 8 weeks to go for the next try (I work fulltime and I am not a native speaker) My knew strategy is as follows:

1. Focus on verbal
-GMAT Pill
-MGMAT SC
-Aristotle SC Grail
-Aristotle RC99 (It was recommended by many of you in the forum; by the way where can I buy it, since it is not available at aristotle's homepage anymore?)
-Re-read CR-Bible and MGMAT CR
-OG12, 2nd review
-Read economist on a daily basis
-Participate in the forum
2. Quant - I would like to score Q>45
-GMAT Pill
-MGMAT advanced quants
-OG12, 2nd review (review especially DS, since I am pretty weak at DS)

As I said, a 650 would be ok for me to reach my goal. However, after receiving such a devasting score on the real GMAT, I am not quite sure if I can make it in 8 weeks. If you experienced guys have any suggestions on my plan or any other advice, please share.

Best Regards,
Th
