Hi folks,

I just wanted to know how accurate is the scoring on Knewton verbal practice sets?

I am trying to nail down my weaknesses in Verbal and I got 15/21 questions right on the SC set and it scored me as a Q47, while on the CR set, i got 20/30 questions right and it rated my at Q44 (is this a bug? Shouldnt it be V instead of Q?)

Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to waste full fledged tests by jumping in too early..

The Knewton practice set is not Adaptive. It is just a linear combination of questions..... so that score is not accurate. Take it as a quiz rather than a test if that makes sense.

As to the Q - thank you for the pointer. We'll fix it in the answers.

Yesterday i gave knewton 39 question quant set.i got 12 questions wrong and still got a score of 98% q - 51... Based on this quiz what can i expect on real test

Let me know.. Its important..

It's in gmatclub tests.

even today i gave one MGMAT test(not gmat club test) and i got 44 in quant with 16 questions wrong...also i have heard that MGMAT questions are quite tougher and we can expect a higher score on real gmat ..So can i expect my score to be around 47 in quant based on this test

The Knewton test is a quiz (it is a set of questions, so I would not use it to measure your performance). it is a Quiz.
