Any particular food (not foods)
can instead of could (should be consistent with "indicate")
Present Perfect Tense "has not been" is correct as "the proof" effort started in past and continues till present moment

Despite is a wrong word to bring in contrast here. It looks as if the
studies went against there being no proof. From the meaning point of view
this usage of "despite" is awkward.
A) Despite + Noun (no proof) is correct. But the restrictive clause after "that" has a subject verb agreement error. It should be
"consumption of any particular foods reverses hardening of the arteries"
B) Foods are not proved to reverse hardening of the arteries but consumption of foods is. B says exactly opposite of this
C) subject-verb agreement error here. Consumption + of + Noun/Noun phrase + has been
D) Same subject and verb agreement problem here. Use "reverses" instead of "reverse"
E) it also uses "reverse" but in future tense and hence it is correct.

"it has not been proved" ... means the effort to prove started in past and is still continuing in present.
So present tense for both "indicate" and "can"
