it is not E) cause "the number" is singular and "are growing" is plural , additionali the structure is "prefer stng TO stng". B) seems the best to me but i am hesitating between A) and B) but anyway will vote for B)

it's a straight (A) for me.
in B,C,D, i expect a 'that' after the 'convince'. without the 'that', it seems as though one-third of the bank customers are also convinced.
(E) has an unidiomatic expression. It should be '...prefer something to another'.

remove all choices that have "WOULD"
Left with A and C
C has a couple of problems.
Need that after convinced..
when using compared to make sure you use nouns/phrases that make a good and logical comaparison. C lacks that comparison.
