'Status of X has changed a little' sounds idiomatic to me - It is 'C'.

C is the best choice. has changed little is more concise compared to D, while little changed in the other choices are not idiomatic

If the OA is "E"

on what basis , all other options especially "C" have been refuted?

For some reason I had E as OA.That's why I posted the question,it made no sense to me,but now I see OA is C.Sorry guys.
