Anyone else concerned with a possible convergence of the Diablo 3 release and full-time enrollment in business school?? If I can survive b-school while simultaneously fanatically playing the (potentially) best computer game known to man, then I will indeed be prepared to handle anything life throws at me upon graduation

I can't believe it! I played Diablo 2 (the expansion set) so many times I think I wore through the play disc. This is epic. This is HUGE!! I am beside myself wagging my tail for joy!!!

Spare time waiting for school to start = lvl 60 assassin after 3 days of gameplay. My prediction for release date will be Fall/Winter 2010, right before Christmas. I think Blizard is probably going to release the next expansion of World of Warcraft later this year, and then release Diablo III about a year after once everyone is burned out from it.

I've always loved video games - role-playing, first-person shooter, adventure - doesn't matter to me. I'm actually writing the storyline for one now - that's one of my current writing projects...

OMG Haas has a gaming club? Man - I'm sooooo writing about that in the 'why Haas' part of my essay I kicked the habit a few years ago, but I think I spent ~2,000 hrs of my youth playing SC, Diablo II, and... other random games. Oh, and a few hundred hours on WC3 back in undergrad (a good amount of that on Dota) Now if only I had spent that time doing something productive...

Ya, D2 was a good game and I used to play it too. Since then, I used to disturbingly speak in terms of SOJs I'll most definitely get D3 though not sure how much time I'll be able to dedicate to that

Another D2 re-install here. It's been so many years, still I cannot think of a game better (or more addictive) than Diablo II. Shows how old I am, doesn't it

I wasted too many hours of my life playing games, mostly Ultima Online. Unfortunately, every video game has turned into a treadmill, so I can't bring myself to waste any amount of time on a game that requires endless effort to "keep up." I feel blessed to not have the addiction anymore... for now anyway

That is the reason I never bought World of Warcraft. The whole concept of online games is wrong in my opinion; games should be a fun thing to do in your spare time, not yet another obligation requiring huge investment in terms of time and effort.

haha. That picture is great. I think I've changed my position on this video game thing. Once I get past the GMAT, I'm going to spend a month or two wasting my life away. I'm tired of learning The new World of Warcraft expansion should be a sufficient time waster.
