Did Not get an LOR [#permalink] New post 09 Mar 2006, 17:37
Hello

I was planning to apply for the PT programs in Chicago and NYU. One of my past supervisors that I approached for an LOR did not respond to my email.

Since I work in the IT field as a consultant I guess I could approach my clients but they do not know enough to write a good LOR.

Is there any other option?

You could go with a client. Or maybe someone else that you worked with (like a peer). But I'd say that your supervisor is the most ideal.

There is good news - the super I talked about called me over the weekend to discuss the reco.

I guess I was fretting without a reason.
