Difference between an absolute phrase and a participle? [#permalink] New post 27 Oct 2012, 06:07
I recently went through the concept of absolute phrase and noun modifiers. At that time I was convinced that I have mastered this concept.
But I was wrong. I am pretty much confused among topics such as absolute phrase, noun modifiers and participle forms, confused in the sense that I have an efficiency of around 60% in this topic.
Even while writing the last line, I tried to use absolute phrase; don't know whether its true or not.
E-gmat- I will be really grateful to you if you please explain these topics with examples.
Thanks in advance.
