Is it correct to say that

I am native of Los Angeles ?

Then where is "native to" used?

In general, "native to" is used when you want to say that the subject is a natural part of the surroundings such as the "species is native to".

The Komodo dragon is large lizard-like animal native to the islands of Indonesia.

For the sake of grammer, you could say:

I am a native of LA. (actually better to say I'm a "local" or "Los Angelan")

contrasted to,

Show business is native to LA.
