"Ding" Analysis

Not receiving an Admit to your top business schools can be a very tough experience. The applicatant pools have become increasingly competitive, and many schools have become more selective. But, being declined is not the end of the world. If you choose to give it another try next year, a “Ding Analysis” can be your first step.

A “Ding Analysis” is an introspective analysis of “Why?” you weren’t accepted. Some schools are nice enough to provide application feedback if you were not accepted, but sometimes the best analysis will come from yourself or an unbiased 3rd party. Figuring out “Why?” you weren’t accepted can be the first step towards any future application you choose to put together, and in fact, the re-application process starts as soon as you’ve been declined.
