a)
b) dirt roads cost twice as much as to maintain as paved roads do
c) maintaing dirt roads cost twice as much as paved roads do
d) maintaining dirt roads costs twice as much as it does for paved roads
e) to maintain dirt roads cost twice as much as for paved roads


I'll appreciate if you could explain the choices, atleast the one that you consider right.

a) costs -- should be cost
b) dirt roads cost twice as much as to maintain as paved roads do-- This would have been perfect choice but as much as...as :(
c) maintaing dirt roads cost twice as much as paved roads do--will go with this one.
d) maintaining dirt roads costs twice as much as it does for paved roads-- costs
e) to maintain dirt roads cost twice as much as for paved roads- bad construction
