Hey bipolarbear - what a great handle and profile pic!!! Thanks for the question about our pricing. Our modular services offers a lot of flexibility - you can buy just the support that you need - but it can also be a little confusing, so thanks for the opportunity to explain things.
tl;dr: We definitely offer deals for current clients!
Buying a 2nd or 3rd essay critique service is significantly discounted. The specific offers available will depend on what you buy first. We don't have a bundle that includes just the services you asked about, so you should go ahead and buy them individually, if you're certain that those are what you need. Once you've made your first purchase, you'll be able to access a private Discounts page on our website, that shows you what further offers are available specific to you.
In the 'more than you asked for' category:
There's basically two ways to get discounts: Buy a package, or buy additional Essay Decimator critiques after you get your first ones done. We don't do multiple-school one-time discounts because how do you know if you like working with us? That seems like a lot of commitment right upfront when we haven't had a chance to prove ourselves to you. Instead, we let you get started any way you like, and then we reward you for working with us continually by giving increasingly larger discounts on subsequent essay critique purchases. We don't emphasize the specific discounts on the site too much because the actual pricing and offers available are subject to change depending upon where we are in the admissions cycle - though current clients always get a break on further purchases in specific categories.
The best pricing is available on the Complete Essay Package
, which is a bundle of the most important tools needed to develop your first set of essays (current price: $1,095; if purchased separately: $1,235+). We only sell the Complete Essay Package to you once; it's designed to help you finish the first essays, and you will simultaneously be developing the building blocks needed for your essays for all the other schools. The Complete Essay Package is, as the name implies, focused exclusively on your essays so it includes the Accomplishments & Achievements App Accelerator
(purchased separately: $100) but not Reworking Your Resume
($150, only available as a separate purchase).
The Complete Essay Package also includes your first Essay Decimator
(two-stage essay critique), which is where the rubber hits the road - our most popular (or not, if you've just gotten your feedback returned!!!) service. Current standalone pricing for the Essay Decimator is $750 for any school but Harvard, $595 for HBS. The service that you get with the Complete Essay Package is identical to what you get if you buy it standalone, except that Complete clients have expedited reviews; the only other difference is that usually, getting comments back is significantly less painful if you go through the Complete process, since your first drafts will be much much stronger.
You can add on standalone Essay Decimators from there for each additional school you want help with, and they have decreasing pricing: the more you buy, the cheaper the next one is. The 2nd set of essays is currently priced at $75 off, just as an example (remember, these prices change and so we're reluctant to list them out here - not trying to be coy but don't want to mislead anyone who's reading this later).
We have one other package, called the Reapplicant Roadmap
, but it doesn't sound like you are interested in that. It would be done instead of the Complete Essay Package, since there's a lot of overlap. It doesn't include the full Essay Decimator however. To sum up:
You could currently buy the Accomplishments, Resume, and first Essay Decimator (non-HBS) for $1,000, as of 18 Aug. You'd buy those individually. After you buy the Essay Decimator, you'll be able to purchase another Essay Decimator for cheaper.A menu of services is available here
Hope that helps! Let us know if we can answer anything else about what we do.EssaySnark
