Is anyone here going to Diversity weekend? Is it competitive to get a slot? Is it even worth going? Anyone been through the experience or knows about it..

Thanks

I ( Desi Applicant ) applied for NYU event and wasn't selected ---
Preference is for the under-represented minorities!

I would have to agree with Ozmba. I've applied and been selected to a few and some people that I know have been selected. I would have to say that some of the peope are really not that competitive. For example I have an associate whom I know was selected who is only 22 with minimal work experience from a sub par undergrad and not a lot of extra cirriculars. If your not an under-represented minority and you dont get accepted I wouldnt be worried at all.
