I want to apply for the 08 school year, but I want to get a head start on the essays. Do schools change their essays year to year, or can I look at the essay questions on this year's application and begin writing? Thanks.

Yes, they do. There are some standard themes like Why MBA, Why XYZ school, leadership examples, teamwork examples yada yada. You may want to start thinking about them.

Most do.... but there is always a standard question that you will have to answer for every school, in some way shape or form. Start thinking about your answer to this:

Describe your career path to date that has lead you to pursue an MBA. What are your short and long term career goals and why do you seek to pursue an MBA education from this school?

In some way - every school has this question, and its the most important question - its the heart of every application. Basically, why are you applying, and what are you going to do with your education?
