Hi,
Please see below for my quick profile:
Work Experience: 5+ years (2 years commercial lending, 1 year consulting firm, 2.5 years investment banking (I am currently doing IB in the midwest))
GMAT: Bombed it the first time (580). Scored a 690 the second time (at this point I don't plan on taking it again, but obviously will if I do not get in anywhere)
GPA: 3.4 Bates College - Major in Economics.
I do a considerable amount of work for area charities / non-profits (I serve on the Board of a decent-size local non-profit)
I am also a white male
I would like to apply to some of the top schools - Tuck, Haas, Stanford, Harvard, Michigan to name my top choices.
I know I am likely a longshot - but do I at least have a chance at getting in to these schools? What can I do, if anything, to improve my application in regards to anything I have listed above??
Thank you for your time,
Mike
Stanford and HBS are distinct stretches. You have no safeties. You have a chance at all of them. I think you should add a couple more where you are competitive. what are you post b-school interests?
Good luck!
