I think you are a suitable candidate for most schools. You have chances, of course, even if the admission process is extremely competitive.

Good luck!

AWA [#permalink] New post 14 Oct 2006, 21:33
Thanks Robbie for your feedback and encouragement!

I just received my official GMAT score today, and realized that I made 4.0 on AWA. Not too happy about it. Anyone know what the is the minimum AWA score for PhD programs? I read that MBA usually requires a 4.0.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

AWA is not that important. In fact, one of the schools that I'm applying to doesn't need me to give the AWA score.

AWA is not one of the elements that schools consider in evaluating your application... don't worry. ;-)

The point you should know is: you are a competitive candidate, but there are many other competitive candidates who apply for a Phd program. You have chances, of course, but every applicant has his/her strenghs and weaknesses. In sum, no one is sure to be enrolled in a program. As a result, the luck plays a role to determine the final outcome.
