Hola. I was wondering if I had a shot at any accredited Bschool with a horrible gpa. My profile is this:
24 Year old White
Michigan state University bach of Economics(after spending 2 years at University of Michigan)
2.63 GPA-(No trends. About a 2.5-2.8 every semester)
I'm gonna write a letter. For 2-3 Years, I was on different medicines that had severe side affects and affected my studies
GMAT-580. Gonna retake it. Figure 580-600
Extras- Lots of volunteer work, good recommendation letters
jobs- Financial assistant for a real estate company
Interned at radio station
Tell me what colleges are the best (if any) that would take me?
thanks- Go LIONS
golfpro,
You may have a shot at some of the following schools:
--DePaul University
--Rice University (Jones)
--University of Tennessee-Knoxville
--University of Kentucky (Gatton)
--College of William and Mary
--Case Western Reserve University
--Iowa State University
Just explain your medical situation and convince them it's in the past. See
Accepted.com's
advice for applicants with low GMATs.
Good luck,
