Do I have any chance with a poor GMAT score [#permalink] New post 26 Jan 2010, 22:55
Hey:
I have a bachelor business degree of a Canadian university with GPA 3.6 and also have 5 years working experience in both customer service and marketing area in Canada. I am interested in the Ms program of Real Estate program at Zicklin school in this fall. However, only got 510 (M 42 V 19 Essay 4.5) Does any chance to get in the Ms program in Real Estate with this GMAT score?

I'm not optimistic. I encourage you to retake and focus on improving your verbal score.

Best,
Linda

The GMAT range for MS and MBA programs at Zicklin is 510-710, with the average GPA for other programs including MS being 3.2. Although your GPA is higher than average, your GMAT just makes it in the 80% range.

Your work experience in customer service and marketing may be considered relevant to a real estate program and give you extra points, but the GMAT score will continue to be a weakness.
