Do I have any shot at all? [#permalink] New post 05 Jul 2008, 11:47
I took the GMAT three years ago in November 2005, studied very little for it (foolish, I know..) and got a 500. I got into the MBA program at Mississippi State and graduated with a 3.36 GPA. I worked as a research assistant during my time there, throughly enjoyed it, and became interested in pursuing a career in academia (Ph.D. in Management) because of this.

I know that my options are very limited, but a few of the programs that I have looked at are:
Jackson State University
Morgan State University
Southern Illinois Univ. - Carbondale
UT-Arlington
UT-San Antonio
UT-Pan American
University of North Texas
New Mexico State University

As it stands, do I have a realistic shot at any of these schools or any other schools?
I'm on a pretty tight budget right now and would like to avoid retaking the GMAT or taking the GRE if at all possible.
