Hello,

I am currently starting the process of filling out some MBA admissions forms. One question I have is do under grad internships count as ECs? Durring my undergrad I had two internships, one was paid, one was for credit only (not impacted against my GPA, and was counted as a 6th class during a semester). Is it fair to say that these were ECs? I don't want to make it look like I had a lot of idle free time since I wasn't involved in many clubs or school affiliated organizations, because instead I was busy with internships.

When filling out the application, should I consider listing these internships...for what it is worth, I have them listed on my resume.

Jason,
Well internships are awesome, but notwithstanding they aren't ECs. Which is not necessarily a problem. If your concern is that you don't really have too many ECs, you can always try to present the argument "Hey I was so busy working that I didn't have time..."

But yeah, definitely keep them on that resume.
