Trying to figure out the same question. Can a school see the 4 other schools you sent the GMAT to? I don't think I'll send the scores to any schools the day of if that's the case.
I heard it was best to retake the GMAT once or twice and put no one on it and if you score higher than send it.

No, there is no value in putting no recipients. You want to take advantage of the free score reports. Otherwise, it is $35 per school - painful!

The only value would be a top tier school not being allowed to see that scores were sent to a lower tier school. Afraid of getting snobbed if a top tier school has an ill opinion.
