Looks like there might actually be a few 2008 applicants in the city of Chicago...

Anyone interested in a drink sometime?

I can wax nostalgic about the app process over a mojito.

I am in Skokie, right next door to Evanston. I would definetly be interested in getting together with other GMATclubbers.

I just moved to chicago a few weeks ago. Living in lakeview by all those colorful street street signs.

btw, i'm kinda new to this forum. I heard about gmatclub from a friend who used to lurk these forums. he said rhyme was the guy who knows the ins/outs/sideways of the GSB app process. GSB is my top choice so i'm gonna concentrate all my efforts on it before even looking at another app. looking forward to being part of the club :-D

router79, anita, forcefeed,

I am also in Lakeview.... hah

I'm getting together tonight August 8th with some incoming GSB students for drinks... you guys should come.

Here are the details:

meeting up at McGees (by depaul univ) wed evening (6ish). On wed's they have $1 half pound burgers and $3 drafts and bottles.

Website is http://www.mcgeestavern.com/mcgees1/index.shtml

If you want to come, you are welcome to. You might get a chance to pick some people's brains. I think aviroop (or whatever the name was) from here may be coming as well.

I'll send you guys my cell # too. Might be good chance for you guys to pick their brains for advice.
