A. are between the most common childhood health complaints, yet this problem gets surprisingly little attention from ----- are between is wrong; are among is right.

B. are among the most common childhood health complaints, and this problem gets surprisingly little attention from ------- and this problem is wrong. We need a contrast conjunction here.

C. are among the most common childhood health complaints, yet this problem gets surprisingly little attention from ---best choice among the lot

D. are among the most common childhood health complaints, yet this problem is getting surprisingly little attention of --- attention of is unidiomatic [/color]

E. are among the most common childhood health complaints, this problem getting surprisingly little attention from---contrast conjunction missing.

Overall, 'this problem' should have been 'these problems', because there are two maladies mentioned in the original. But none of the choices exhibits it. . So, we can ignore it.
