Does OG reflects all the types of ques that real GMAT incorporates? Will OG suffice in winning over, or, some extra preparation is needed?

I am good in quant, but a bit sceptical ... :toilet

OG reflects majority of the format but there are many ways one can ask the same question so you have to be prepared with your fundamentals in place. OG is like icying on the cake, it gets you thinking in certain ways and induces your thinking to take shortcuts and to use known concepts liberally. :-D

ye, that sounds good to me. I am keeping kaplan along with OG, think this should suffice. :beat

anyway, what's the ratio of probability/combination ques? I am bad+ at these. :(

not much prob/comb type problems...i've taken gmat twice and got only 1 combination question on each test....and they could be solved using the basic formulas....

After reading the experiences of many who have given GMAT, I am beginning to think that sometimes some test takers get a big share of a specific type of problems (comb/prob some or standar deviation etc).. But mostly the distribution seems to be uniform and cover all the types equally. Probably once you start nearing 50, the test may deviate from normal!!!!
