1. ABA=A
2. BAB=B

Please explain your answer.

I think E.

1. ABA=A --> AB * A = A -->
A=0: AB=0
A<>0: AB=1
insuff.

1. BAB=B --> AB * B = B -->
B=0: AB=0
B<>0: AB=1
insuff.

E. in both cases, A and B could be 0 and 1.

Hi,
stmnt 1)
ABA-A=0 then A*(AB-1)=0 which means that the equation has 2 sol A=0 or AB=1
stmnt2) apply same reasoning and get B=0 or AB=1
then IMO C is the ans
