Don't know where to start [#permalink] New post 02 Jun 2003, 08:28
Hello everybody! :-D I am new to this forum and have no experience with GMAT. :( I am thinking about getting into an MBA program next fall. I have not been in school for a while. There are so many resources online about GMAT, I am overwhelmed with all this information available. My question is what should be my starting point ?
How long does it usually take to get ready for the test?

please read our FAQ forum. Then look at our materials. You can do pretty well with this site alone plus some prep materials, such as PowerPrep or Kaplan. Hope this helps ;)

Yes, The FAQ is a good place to start.

Also, you may not need to take GMAT; you need to do research and find some schools you want to apply to.

A good starting point for GMAT is GMAC's website: http://www.gmac.org. This site does not have the very basics - most of the people are veterans :war

They have a bulletin that they publish: http://www.gmatclub.com/members/links/dclinks.cgi?action=redirect&id=31&URL=http://www.gmatclub.com/members/bulletin2002.pdf
It is too long and one time I wanted to make a condenced version, but never had time to

Hm... I am not really sure what else to suggest.

Let me know,

Bogdan.
