i recently took my gmat and only recieved 540 mainly because of the verbal part. I ony recived 20 Points and therefore made 50% wrong.
I am non native and i wanted to ask if anyone knows a good strategy to improve the verbal part quick. ??!!!

There are various techniques you can use to help you understand the questions better. For example, many of the SC questions are unnecessarily complex sentences. But if you simplify them to the core structure - they can become much easier to understand and therefore, much easier to spot the mistake.

The technique we teach is called "cut the fluff" - you can get a taste for what it's all about here: http://www.gmatpill.com/ebook/GMATPill- ... -promo.pdf

Of course, reading about how to cut the fluff does not do justice to the concept. It's best to see this technique in action. For that, you can see some of the sample videos on our homepage.
