Down with Verbal Section [#permalink] New post 21 Nov 2012, 06:52
Hi Guys,

I gave my GMAT today and had a horrible experience in Verbal Section of GMAT. While i got 46 in Quantitative section, i scored only 22 in verbal section. :(

I think i was missing quality preparation material for verbal section for all 3 types of questions in verbal. I want to start verbal from the scratch and want to score high in verbal.

Please suggest how should i go ahead with my verbal section.

Thanks,
Vishal

Hi

I referred referred below materials.

SC : Manhattan SC Guide and for practice OG 13 and some pdf files from gmat club.
CR : For theory part , as such i did not refer any thing just read some points from princeton guide and practiced from OG 13.
RC : Again no theory, only practice questions from OG 13 and Princeton Review.

I feel that i prepared SC well but still i was getting confused between two choices in exam. For CR and RC, i had not enough material to prepare.

Any Suggestion regarding preparing verbal will be really helpful.

Thanks,
Vishal

All right! Well, it seems that your preparation for the verbal section was not strong probably because you did not have the appropriate material. You may try: -
1). MGMAT guide for Sentence Correction that you already referred to
2). Powerscore CR Bible for Critical Reasoning
3). Reading Comprehension has been an orphan

You may also check out the material from GMATPill as I have heard that it is really good. Moreover, it gives a money back guarantee.
