is mass dietery change a noun...NO!

so since we are not comparing nouns here, we have to us "as"...

A is perfectly fine.....

"mass dietery change" is a noun. Who says it is not?

Why A is better than B is because LIKE is used to compare things that are equal or atleast show signs of equality... comparable..

for example
Geans jump like pearls example in OG. Indicates figurative phenomenon...

A, Like B, did Z....

A says that there are 2 processes, just as polio vaccine is for X, MDC is needed for Y...

Between A and B, I think A makes too strong of a comparison, not to mention might actually is redundant. My money is on B.

OA please.

I vote for B too

We compare between 2 nouns: polio vaccine and mass dietary change. So like is more appropriate than as.

Cheers

In A 'just as'........'so' should be correct..but so is missing here....Correct me if I am wrong...

Ritesh,

Could you throw light on the "just as...so" usage. I did not select A just for this reason.

thanks

I go with B for all the reasons given above - noun comparison with 'like'.

In A, 'just as...so..' is missing.
