Question: Is w-y>0 ie Is w>y
Lets look at option B
y<x<w which means that w>y hence B is sufficient (and we are left only to choose between B and D as answers)

Lets look at option A
x+y<0 and also as the data we have w+x<0.
Here there are following possiblities
1. both x and y are negative (in which case we don;t know if x>y or vice versa) and w+x<0. This means either w is positive or w is -ve. In either case we don't know the relation between x,y and z. Hence this doesn't help us solve the problem.
2. y is +ve and x is -ve so that x<y. Here if w is negative in that case y>w, however is w is +ve we again don't know if it is greater than y.
Hence first data point doesn't help, therefore the answer is B.
