What is the sum of integers and ?
1. |A| = -|B|
2. |B| = -|A|
 Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient
 Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient
 BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
 EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
 Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

Can we interet statement 1 to be A = -B or -A = -B i.e. A = B? Same for statement 2.
I picked E as the answer as both Statement 1 and 2 can give 2 results.

Need advice on the correct answer and the reasoning.

There is only one case when $$|A|=-|B|$$, that is when $$A=B=0$$. Thus A+B=0

Same goes for the second statement. It should be (D)
