Picking E....
It cannot be like (rem : we are comparing actions here) ...so A,B,C go out of the window...
D concentrates more on the skater than the act itself... While we use just as to focus on the act, the statement itself creates the problem by focussing on the skater...
This error is removed in E...which highlights the act and not the skater.

Can someone clarify the following:
"just as" indicates similarity in actions...
"like" indicates similarity in nouns?

Just as is better usage than Like.
E is more concise.

matt, sorry for being late as i was out of town for few days.
"just as...., so too" is a correct idiom.
"just as" is like "as" when we compare clauses.

Could somebody please explain me when we use "like" and when we use "just as" (cannot find the unswer using "search"  )?
As I understand we use "just as":
"just as...., so too" is a correct idiom.
"just as" is like "as" when we compare clauses.
But when we can use "like"?
