A it is
B and C are out because "were" is required to link the verb to the "products" which were never sold.
D is wrong because the repetition of "products" after a relative clause (after the comma) is not required
E is also wrong for the same reason; "they" is not needed

Agree with A.

Getrid of evrything after the comma after "that"
and you get the following sentence.
substantial costs for creating products that never were sold.

back to the mainstream.. after a long sabbatical.

A is right. "never were sold" sounds funny. it should be "were never sold". :?

it 's pleasure to be a part of this forum. indeed!! was busy aligning other priorities, or (u can say, i was too lazy to work). starting the preparation back again. will be writing the Gmat in a couple of weeks.
