Each of the offices in a certain building has a floor area of 200, 300 or 350 square feet. How many offices are on the first floor of the building?

1) There is a total of 9500 square feet of space on the first floor of the building.

2) Ten of the offices on the first floor have areas of 350 square feet each.

insufficient info. x - number of offices with 200 square feet, y - 300, z - 350.

(12, 12, 10) = 34 and (15, 10, 10) = 35 satisfy both conditions.

1: we can have 1 300 and 46 200's --> 9500-300 -> 9200/200

or 2 350's and 44 200's 9500-700 -> 8800/200 = 44

Insuff.

2: insuff tells us nothing.


We know that there is 9500-3500 --> 6000 sq ft left among the 200's and 300's. There are several possibilities here. So this is insuff.
