Each of the students in a certain class received a single grade of P, F, or I. What percent of the students in the class were females?

(1) Of those who received a P, 40 percent were females.

(2) Of those who received either an F or I, 80 percent were males.

From 1) No info about F or I or absolute values - INSUFF

From 2) Only know that 80% of people who got F or I are female - no info about P or absolute values - INSUFF

Together - Still not enough info. There could be 10 students with a p and 1000 with F or I or vice versa - INSUFF

I think - we can conclude that the percentage of females lies between 40 and 20.
