I was allowed to use my own earplugs, which are tailored to my size. However, I cannot say whether all centers will act similarly.

all i can tell you is at my test center they had 'smushy' green in-ear earplugs, but they also had these humongous 'external' ones, but nevertheless I still used my own in-ear ones. when the guy offered me theirs, I just took a pack and then when putting them in, I used my own. in retrospect though, I have since used their pack on a home remodel project and those would have worked just as well. they had standard conical shaped in-ear plugs, not the simple cylindrical ones
