I think it's D. Although a bit wordy, it correctly conveys the message:

Eating saltwater fish may cause

1)a significant reduction in the risk of heart attacks
and
2)aid to sufferers of rheumatoid arthritis and asthma.

ill go with E

all the other choices make the sentence seem that eating saltwater fish reduces the risk of aid

A) significantly reduce the risk of heart attacks and also aid for
B)be significant in reducing the risk of heart attacks and aid for
C)significantly reduce the risk of heart attacks and aid (there is no 'for' in this sentence, that's a typo, OA is C)
D)cause a significant reduction in the risk of heart attacks and aid to
E) significantly reduce the risk of heart attacks as well as aiding

Option (C) is the correct answer :)

Understanding the difference between "Aid for" and "Aid to" is required

Aid for - Provide aid in doing something
Aid to - Give aid to somebody
