Edec in Nice or HTW in Berlin [#permalink] New post 08 Jul 2010, 21:04
Hello,

I have been admitted to the MSc Finance at EDHEC in Nice France and
to the MBA&E in HTW Berlin and MBA in HWR Berlin.

What I like about MSc Finance in EDHEC is that EDHEC is ranked high by FT rankings.
What I like about the MBA programs in Berlin, is that they are in Berlin. But these Berlin Universities have
no ranking by FT at all. But then many of the best companies in the World come out of Germany and German
Universities have almost no presence in FT rankings!

SO which program do you recommend as the best choice? And Why?
I am at the end of my wit trying to decide.
So I really appreciate your thoughts.

Regards,
Dean.

Hi,

I have an admission from HTW Berlin as well for Oct 2010.

A German engineering degree with an MBA (which is hard to find in Europe) was the winning edge for me.
And the course is a specialisation on emerging markets - BPO and interdisciplinary management. The third semester being an internship with one of their partner industries is very suitable for international students, both pedagogically and financially. I think HTW Berlin wins with respect to the small class room approach (take a look at their campus videos in their website). Also the course like you say is in Berlin. Imaging being in a city with over 150,000 students, mature systems for students et al.

I have an admission from HTW Berlin, FH Mainz and SRH Berlin and I am choosing HTW Berlin - interdisciplinary management.

If you decide to join HTW Berlin, well would be glad to see you there. :)

Hello Freethan,

So you have also been admitted to the MBA&E program at HTW?
If yes, very good to have met you here.

So do you speak German?
How do you think this MBA&E from HTW stacks against MBAs from FT ranked Universities in London?

Regards,
Dean.

hi Dean,

Yes, I have an admission offer from HTW Berlin. I don't speak German, will have to manage just with English.
Berlin is cosmopolitan, so it shouldn't matter.

I don't know how HTW Berlin compares with other FT ranked school. Though what I know is, the curriculum is concrete.

Hi Freethan,

I'm also from India and want to apply for the Masters in International Management course at HTW Berlin. Was wondering if you could help me a bit through the process. I'm finding it hard to get a reply form the course contact people.
