Dear GMATClub community members,

We recently updated our diagnostic test and would like to invite the GMATClub community members to try it out and judge their proficiency level. We opened this diagnostic up for 3 days last week and were able to collect 300 responses. Using this data, the community can judge their performance against that of their peer group.

The diagnostic contains video solutions and you will be able to review the solutions in the file itself. Payal will also conduct a special session on 11th November to discuss any questions that are submitted to us by the 10th. Post your questions on e-GMAT forum for the diagnostic test. Those who have attempted the diagnostic will receive priority invitation.

The diagnostic contains 15 questions (including meaning based), roughly the same number that you are expected to see on the official exam. Hence, it could be a great way to brush up your preparation for your next mock test or the official exam.

How to attempt the diagnostic?
Simply log in to e-GMAT.com and click on the Sentence correction diagnostic. Register for free if you are not a member of e-GMAT.

Enjoy!!

thank you for the diagnostic e-GMAT for very challenging questions. I was very impressed with the detailed solutions. I have a few questions:

1. I scored 55 on the diagnostic. Can you tell me what percentile this would be.
2. how many questions does your course have with such detailed solutions.

The test is not adaptive, however it has 500,600 an 700 level questions which have different weight age. Looking at your score it seems that you answered a few of the more difficult questions incorrectly.

Very nice practice !! + 1 Kudos :) .

Do you intend to publish the comparative results(percentile data) after collecting a sizeable sample?

Crick,

I am glad that you liked the diagnostic. We will be publishing the results soon. Based on some preliminary calculations (we are still in the data cleansing process), the mean score is around 64 and the standard deviation between 18-20.

Did you get a chance to go through the solutions as well. Did you find this format useful.

Regards,

Rajat Sadana

Thank you for posting the results. It is clear that I have a fair way to go before I can claim victory over SC. The solutions were great. told me where I went wrong with my thought process. Do you have more meaning based questions in your course.
