8 machines/ 360 cans = 5 machines/ x cans
8x= 1800
x=225

(225)(3 hours)= 675 cans. The answer is A.

Hi, if 8 machines make 360 then 5 would make
8:360
5:x
X= 225
so in 3 hours it would be 225*3=675

\(\frac{8}{M}=\frac{360cans}{1hr}==>\frac{1}{M} = 45cans/1hr\)

Calculate 5 machines doing work in 3 hours.
\(W=(5)(\frac{45cans}{1hr})(3hrs)==>W=675cans\)

8(rt)=360

rt=45

t=1 ===> r=45

rt=w

n=5

Eight identical machines can produce 360 aluminum cans per hour. If all of the machines work at the same constant rate, how many cans could 5 such machines produce in 3 hours?

8 Machines - 360 Cans/Hour

1 Machine = 45 Cans/Hour

5 Machines in 3 Hours \(= 45 * 5 * 3 = 675\)

Hence, Answer is A
