The UEs seem to all be among the top programs for finance; really, the only "elite" school that can even keep up in terms of a finance program is Stern.

So besides the obvious: Wharton, HBS, Stanford, Booth, CBS, Sloan, Tuck, Kellogg; which among the elites and below are well-known for having an exceptional finance program (aside from the aforementioned Stern)?

i beleive Yale SOM has a good reputation in the finance field. also if you look at their career placement stats from last year, a large # of their graduates went on to work in this field

If you consider the West Coast, UCLA and Berkeley both seem to be pretty strong in the finance department. Both offer MFE programs, and Berkeley's is considered to be one of the best, and most rigorous, MFE programs in the country. Both are rated in the Top 10 by US News. And both have strong connections to regional VCs.
