For any of you looking outside of the ultra elite or those wanting a flexible curriculum, with an undervalued (in my opinion) program, feel free to visit Emory's website to see how the curriculum change could possibly fit your desires.

http://www.goizueta.emory.edu/degree/fu ... culum.html

I am going through this core right now, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Also, if you want to know anything about Emory, other than the curriculum, please use me as a resource, I'd be glad to help.

Wow, so far zero interest in Emory on GMATClub. I'm going to give this a little bump. I feel like people need to know there are other, great options out there. Open your mind to other possibilities.

Im planning on applying to Goizueta! I also find it strange how so many people are focused only on the "top 15", "top 10", "m7".....yada yada yada.

I will not be able to visit Emory before applying but have spoken with current students. Is the non-visit a problem in the eyes of the adcom?

I wouldn't say its going to be a problem. The visit is definitely encouraged though. Emory is very big on fit, and they could question your desire to understand the community without seeing it first hand. That being said, if you've spoken with current students, definitely tell admissions about that contact. If you can talk about your conversations with them, you should be fine.

I'm glad to see you're applying, and can see outside of the rankings. Believe me, everyone here at Goizueta thinks we're an undervalued asset and its just a matter of time before the rankings show it. Best of luck in your application process.
