Thanks for your post. With that remarkable GMAT, your experience in the oil field industry, international experience, and the NGO/community experiences, especially that which you established and ran on your own, you should have strong chances at most b-schools around the world, as long as you have compelling essays that support your profile, are engaging, and demonstrate what you would bring to a b-school class. Stanford & HBS will likely still not be easy to get into given all of the well-qualified applicants they receive, though you should certainly give it a shot if interested. Otherwise your chances are better than average and you'll want to think about what you are looking for in a school (see our free download on choosing schools at: http://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book
For energy sector in particular, you could consider Haas, Fuqua, Rice, McCombs. But certainly all top programs will open many doors including within the energy sector, including Stanford, HBS, Columbia, etc. Outside the US, IMD & Warwick come to mind for energy.
Good luck, please keep us posted on your questions and progress!
