Equation of a line is Y = ax + b, What is the slope of the given line

1) X and Y intercept are same 2) 1<b<3

A.

1: intercept is 1. 2: seems the question is not designed properly. if x = y, then b can not be different from 0.

Fistail, can u please explain why b can not be anything else but zero?
Line with slope -1 can have any value of b, wich is why 2nd statement is insuff.

Since Y = ax + b and x = y, b should be 0. if not then x cannot be equal to y.
