Essay errors [#permalink] New post 18 Apr 2004, 21:00
Hello:

I just reviewed my essays that I submitted electronically and there was a spelling error right there at the end of my last essay. Anyway, to make things worse, the error was with the school's name. Do you think that I should send a quick e-mail to the admissions director acknowledging that I made the error? Is this acceptable? I did it twice in the last sentance and I am sure that it will be noticed.

Thank you,

Chris

It's unfortunate. :(

Frankly I think you risk drawing attention to the error by writing a note specifically about that error. You could contact the admissions office (not the director) and say you made a mistake and submitted an earlier draft of that essay and would like to submit the real final draft. Ask if and how that's possible.
Good luck!
