Essay format for application... [#permalink] New post 25 Nov 2007, 12:51
I'm about to upload my essays for a school, and I was wondering if there is a certain format that I should be using. My plan is the following:

What are your career goals?

My career goals..........the end

are you guys putting your name on the essays, or doing anything else specific that I should consider adding?

I found NYU's essay heading makes sense: Name, Birthday, Essay #, Page #. It's minimal intrusive and ensures loose paper doesn't get lost. I plan to use this heading format in other schools' essays as well.

At the top of the page, not in the header, I restated the question as it was posted by the bschool. Ex) Essay 1: Why do you want to pursue a MBA... I just labeled each file Name-School-Essay # and uploaded it.
