Essay Strategy. Leave a line between or next line? [#permalink]

The question I have is more on the lines for what is more acceptable and also asthetically nice to see.
Is it better to leave a line between paragraphs or start the new paragraph on the next line with a tab?
Are either fine?

Another question - do you guys justify your paragraphs? I didn't on my Wharton apps, but I think I should have - it makes it look a bit 'neater'!
